Work experience stands out on a CV. It shows to an employer that young people have gained some transferrable skills, balanced their time with studies and starts to demonstrate a positive work ethic. It can give young people a taste of a job they are interested in pursuing in the future.
Work Experience in Leicester and Leicestershire.
LEBC organises work experience placements in Leicester and Leicestershire for over 5,000 young people in school year 10 and above. Each year we visit over 1900 employers across a variety of different sectors to carry out health and safety visits during the academic year, who offer over 2000 different work experience opportunities for young people.
If your school/college does not offer work experience, or you would like an additional placement, we can arrange this for you. Click here for ideas about the types of placements available.
We organise work experience placements for young people across a variety of different sectors. Placements can be a 1 week block, or for up to 2 days per week over an extended period of time.
By accessing our service you will benefit from:

- An experience to gain skills and knowledge that will improve your future employment prospects
- Reassurance as our assessor team are NEBOSH qualified and undertake health, safety and welfare checks on all placements
