Introduction
LEBC has been working in the field of mentoring for 10 years, gaining a wealth of experience in the education and community sectors.
Mentoring in Education We have worked with a wide range of schools across the East Midlands to support young people through the provision of Learning Mentors, Peer Mentors and Volunteer Mentors from Business and the Community. As well as providing Mentors with initial training to support them in their role, we have developed and delivered a range of training modules to support them in their Continuing Professional Development. Our mentoring projects have included: - Peer Mentoring

- Academic Mentoring
Mentoring in the Community We have trained and supported over 200 community based mentoring project co-ordinators, including the delivery of a 2 day train the trainer course. Areas of support have included:
- Recruitment, Vetting, Training and Placement of Volunteer Mentors - Promoting and Sharing Best Practice - Training Workshops on: We have successfully delivered a groundbreaking project in the Braunstone New Deal for Communities area of Leicester, whereby mentoring was introduced as a support strategy into a whole community. Mentoring Consultancy We offer a consultancy service to schools, community projects and businesses, which includes access to expert advice, support and training.
