Parents / Young People
Parents make a difference!
Parents/carers are ideally placed to help develop young people’s learning about the world of work. Work related learning is now a key element of learning throughout primary and secondary schools. Your experience of work brings a much valued aspect to learning in the classroom. You could volunteer to take part in LEBC’s activities such as reading, science activities or even offering to take a young person on a work experience placement where you work. View Parents/Carers page to see more.
Learners understanding the world of work
Understanding the world of work is of increasing importance for young people and schools now introduce this element from primary age children all the way through school up to 16 – 18 years of age. View Young People to see more.
