Would you be willing to make a charitable donation to support Leicestershire’s work experience programme for young people?

Recent Government cuts have hit education hard. Schools and colleges are being more discerning about how they spend their discretionary income. Many schools and colleges are limiting the number of young people who will benefit from a work experience placement. The outcome of this is that many young people will not gain the basic skills and experience of working life, or have the opportunity to investigate a career or sector which they are interested in.

Leicestershire Education Business Company is inviting companies and individuals to make charitable donations to support work experience. It costs approximately £60 per young person to set up a work experience placement, as employers must be visited periodically to check health, safety, welfare arrangements, agree job roles and draw up contractual agreements between young people, their parents and their school/college.

Your charitable donation will help young people in your geographical area. If you are willing to make a donation, our sincere thanks.
