We’ve been inspiring young people to reach their potential for over 30 years. Want to join us on our journey?
Here are just some of the ways in which you can make a difference to young people and the community.
- Provide a work experience placement to develop a student’s employability skills and experience in the world of work. This could be 1 week a year or more.
- Recruit an apprentice and grow your own talent
- Volunteer at a local LEBC careers education event in schools across Leicester and Leicestershire to raise awareness of your sector and your business
- Become a STEM ambassador and promote career opportunities within Science, Tech, Engineering, and Maths across the East Midlands
- Sponsor or make a donation to LEBC to enable all young people to develop the skills, knowledge, and experiences to support their future
To date, we’ve joined forces with around 5,000 organisations across the East Midlands from private, public, community, and voluntary sectors. Generously dedicating their time, skills, and energy has helped us to:
- Drive employer visibility to young people in support of recruitment, talent attraction, and retention strategies
- Reduce the widening skills gap by giving the future workforce opportunities to upskill and improve social mobility
- Create school engagement opportunities for local businesses and boost social value opportunities
