LEBC Apprenticeship Service 2.0

Since 2017, Leicestershire Education Business Company have helped over 3,000 students in local schools and colleges to learn more about apprenticeships, particularly the higher and degree level opportunities available to them. We have supported over 450 students to build a quality CV and improve their chances of securing employment. This was achieved as part of a match-funded European Social Fund project, which was completed in September 2020.

We are acutely aware that young people face an uphill struggle during the upcoming economic recovery period, particularly those looking for work or Apprenticeships, as they will likely face fiercely competitive jobs market.

Because of these challenges, we are excited to announce that we will be making our own investment in young people’s futures by relaunching the LEBC Apprenticeship Service. Our aim is to ensure that students wishing to secure an apprenticeship have somewhere to turn for support. We are committed to offering our expertise to any student needing our help, facilitating informed career decisions, helping them to build a quality CV and make strong apprenticeship applications. We will also look to broker opportunities on behalf of students directly with local employers to increase their chances of success.

This project will not only help young people in Leicester and Leicestershire but local employers too, offering them a completely free recruitment service to save them time and money. Any employer looking to recruit an Apprentice can post their job with our Apprenticeship Team, who will directly market your vacancy into schools and colleges. We will sift CVs and support you to achieve the best fit for your company. We will also offer signposting to current government incentives and local training providers as required.
