“LEBC was extremely helpful…I couldn’t have asked for better support and I’ve now secured an Apprenticeship role!”
We first met Daniel at a careers fair at Wigston College in March 2024. Daniel was interested in going down the Apprenticeship route rather than going to university, and so he enrolled onto our ‘Aspiring Apprentice’ support programme. Daniel was booked in for an Apprenticeship action plan session in April and we started working on his CV and preparing for interviews, and when this was completed, we supported him to start applying for Apprenticeship vacancies. Daniel has now been offered a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration with a local commercial waste management company.
Daniel commented on the support received: “Jo at LEBC was extremely helpful in finding me an Apprenticeship and was always at hand to answer any questions I had. The whole process was very quick and easy-going, Jo was incredibly considerate and absolutely lovely. I couldn’t have asked for better support and I’ve now secured a role!”
Daniel is one of 50 students from city and county schools and colleges currently receiving support to prepare and find an Apprenticeship through LEBC’s Apprenticeship Support Service.
