‘Reach for the stars’ event a big success
A massive thank you to our East Midlands STEM Ambassadors, Mark Keating and Mohan J. who had some fabulous and heartfelt thank you’s from local Ashfield students at the Sherwood Observatory “Reach for the stars” event this month!
IDEAS4CAREERS (UK) LTD expressed their appreciation, stating, “I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude for your incredible support at the ‘Reach For The Stars’ event last week. As the event organiser and host, it was truly inspiring to see the enthusiasm and engagement from local Ashfield students. Your rocket activity was listed as a top attraction by many students in their feedback. School leaders told us on the day that their students wanted to stay longer!
The event was a resounding success thanks to your engaging and interactive displays that sparked students’ interest in STEM. Your exhibits provided a fascinating glimpse into the wonders of science and technology, captivating the young minds and igniting their curiosity. School leaders praised the event for the inspiration it provided to students and appreciated the inclusive nature of the event, noting how excited and engaged students were with the diverse exhibitors and activities.”
We even now have a lovely video of Mark demonstrating how to use the rocket kit, which we can loan out to you if you get in contact with us! Watch the video here: https://lnkd.in/eQN56HM3 🌟
