STEM Co-ordinator (Leicestershire & Northampstonshire)

Do you have experience of running events and have great communication skills?  Are you interested in ensuring young people have access to accurate information on STEM careers?


We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest and enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) to join the company’s STEM team as a STEM Co-ordinator.

Main purpose of this role: 

To build on and extend our work and impact to promote STEM subjects and careers to young people in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, through co-ordination of a wide variety of projects including:

  • STEM Ambassadors
  • Space Ambassadors
  • AI’M Higher
  • Young Coders

LEBC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required for this role.

Pay/Hours of work:

This role is offered on a full time basis of 37.5 hours per week. Part time or term time working will also be considered. The successful applicant will be provided with a company laptop and mobile telephone for work purposes. Mileage will be reimbursed as per the company’s policy.

The full time salary for this post will be £26,000 to £28,000 per annum, based on experience.

– Home based with 4 days a month office based in Leicester.

– Requires a drivers licence.
