Can you provide a young person with work experience?
Evidence suggests that work experience not only raises educational and careers aspirations, but also ensures students are more realising in their expectations. Students and schools report that work experience can improve students’ confidence, contextualise learning and have a positive effect on academic outcomes.
(Research carried out by the Social Market Foundation in 2023)
