Meet the STEM Ambassador
We often get asked by teachers what our STEM Ambassadors do. Here is an interesting article about one of them.
Elpida Vounzoulaki is currently doing a PHD in Diabetes Epidemiology at Leicester University. Her research focuses on preventing type 2 diabetes in women who had gestational diabetes. She is very passionate about communicating science to the public and making it accessible and often visits schools or takes part in events as a speaker. She hopes by doing so, she can inspire young people to follow a career in science and research.
